The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team opens its 2025-26 ledger this Sunday at the Wolverine Invitational. The ladies are part of a 15-team field tackling the University of Michigan Golf Club in Ann Arbor. The event starts with 36 holes on Sunday before the final 18 on Monday.

- Veteran starting lineup with Fernandez-Tagle, Healey, Foresta and Cooper all starting together 20 times over the last three seasons.
- Wood is making her first start. The true freshman is from South Africa has ranked as high as 249 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings.
- Fernandez-Tagle is the current career scoring leader for the Mocs. Her 73.05 is 1.53 better than Hall of Famer Emma de Groot's 74.58 over her 4-year career (2008-11). Foresta (75.16) and Healey (75.34) are eighth and ninth, respectively.
- The Mocs have won the season opening event twice: 2007 Chris Banister Gamecock Classic, 2008 Chris Banister Gamecock Classic. That event is now on the spring side of the schedule. The Mocs look to win it for a fourth time this March.
