The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team got the season started with a 36-hole day at the Wolverine Invitational. The 15-team converged on the University of Michigan Golf Club in Ann Arbor with the Mocs ending the day in 12th with a 607 total, two behind Wisconsin.
 
Breakdown

• Consistent day with 303 and 304 on the team scores.
• First round was led by Kera Healey with 74. Olivia Wood added 75 in her first collegiate round, while Violeta Fernandez-Tagle (76) and Makenzie Cooper (78) closed out the counting cards.
• Wood was low woman in round two with 74. Cooper was next with 75 followed by Healey's 77 and Fernandez-Tagle at 78.
• Wood (149) has a 2-stroke advantage for the team lead over Healey (151).
• 16 birdies on the counting cards led by Wood's six. She had three on both cards.
