Postgame Quotes
Dan Earl, Head Coach
Opening thoughts after tough 67-66 loss to ETSU.
"I thought it was a hard-fought game by both teams. Credit to ETSU, they made enough plays when they had to, but I thought we battled. You can't have an 18-3 deficit on second chance points. We changed the lineup a little bit, had two bigs in there sometimes, and that helped us a little bit. But I thought ETSU made one more play. There were a couple of plays defensively late game in particular and just crushed us on the boards with second chance points."

On turnovers making a difference.
"Yes and no, because ETSU leads the conference in steals and plays with a lot of physicality. Yes, because one of our positive traits is that we usually take care of the ball. I think that's the first time we've had a negative assist-to-turnover ratio in a long time. 14 turnovers is too much against a very good ETSU team."

On final 10 seconds.
"We knew that they were going to drive the ball, and we were saying, 'hey, pack it in and force a kick out. If they made three with a hand up, it is what it is, but don't let them just drive downhill. I think we were in there and then they kind of like threw a shovel pass, and the next guy was just coming downhill, and I want to say Josh Bowman might have clipped them a little bit. We have to figure out how to play defense without fouling, but we, we thought that they were going to come downhill with the basketball. We just couldn't keep from fouling."

Collin Mulholland, RS-So., F
On returning from injury and playing more minutes.
"Tonight was a little more physical in terms of how ETSU played with pressure. It's been a while, but I was definitely ready for it. I don't have any excuse. I just. I need to be more efficient and keep my aggression. I'm just gonna keep getting more comfortable as my minutes totally go up."
