Postgame Quotes
Dan Earl, Head Coach
Opening thoughts after 81-76 loss to Western Carolina:
"I know I sound like a broken record somewhat, but the offensive rebounding that we gave up or the rebounding war that we lost...they had 18 offensive rebounds. I want to say they had 11 in the first half, and we couldn't keep them off the foul line. We've had trouble defending without fouling. That is with physicality without fouling, and then rebounding and battling. Credit to Western Carolina. I thought that they were more physical than us, in particular in the first half. And then, obviously, [Julien] Soumaoro had a heck of a game."

On if he was more disappointed in the poor first half or happy with second half fight:
"I'm proud of the guys for fighting. But just to be honest with you, I'm getting tired of kind of saying the same thing over and over. You know, what's the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. I thought we competed throughout against ETSU. We just didn't shoot it well. We didn't shoot well again tonight, but it was a little different. How physical we were, how much we battled in the second half, compared to the first. We have to figure out how to do it for 40 minutes regardless of what's going on with making shots or missing shots."

Collin Mulholland, RSo.-C
On how to use the last 10 minutes to help guide the way forward:
"It's kind of like what coach said, it's good to see that that fight from us and like the ability to come back. But if we could just apply that without having to come back and just start the game like that and not have to dig ourselves out of a hole. It's a lot more useful to apply that to the whole game."
