RICHMOND, Ky. (February 20, 2026) – The Chattanooga Mocs men's tennis team earned a thrilling 4-3 neutral site victory over Tennessee Tech during non-conference action on Friday afternoon at the Adams Tennis Center in Richmond, Ky.
 
With the win, Chattanooga improves to 2-4 on the season and has now won two of its last three matches. Tennessee Tech falls to 3-5 overall following the narrow defeat.

Cortland Grove and Jakub Jupa defeated Tennessee Tech's Alex Alvarez and Davids Spaks, 6-3, at No. 1 to kick things off. The team point was clinched at No. 2 when Julian Franzmann and Kristof Kincses edged out Oliver Dao and Linus Rohlin with a 7-6 (2) tiebreak victory. Tennessee Tech managed a win at No. 3, where Murilo Burckhardt and Diego Munoz topped Jaxon Lamb and Carter Ramthun, 6-3.
 
In singles, Tennessee Tech's Munoz struck first with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Martin Delnido at No. 4. Chattanooga responded as Jupa added a point with a 6-4, 6-2 victory against Dao at No. 1 before Grove extended Chattanooga's lead by defeating Spaks, 6-4, 6-2, at No. 3. Tennessee Tech then closed the gap with Alvarez's 6-4, 6-4 win over Franzmann on court two.
 
The match intensified as Tennessee Tech evened the score at No. 6, where Rohlin overcame TJ Ryerson, 6-3, 6-4. However, the Mocs sealed the match at No. 5 singles, with Kincses winning a three-set battle against Christian Cappuccini, 2-6, 6-3, 6-1, ensuring Chattanooga's overall victory.
