Erin Wells' work leading the Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team earned top recognition. Wells was named the Southern Conference Golfer of the Week Wednesday afternoon. The York, U.K., native shot 5 under leading a strong performance for the Mocs against a solid field.

- Shot career bests for 18 (69), 36 (139) & 54-hole score (211) while leading the Mocs to a top 10 finish at Wisconsin's Westbrook Invitational.
- 5 under is the lowest 54-hole score vs par by a Mocs freshman all-time.
- She played par or better on 90.7 percent of her holes (49 of 54). That included an eagle and 10 birdies.
- Top 100 ranked wins: #21 Charlotte Beck, Arizona (1 shot), #66 Ebba Nordstedt, Kansas (4), #89 Makenzie Cooper, Chattanooga (2).
- Led Chattanooga to wins over Wisconsin, Penn State, Washington State & Colorado State among others. Season-low score for a Chattanooga women's golfer.
- True freshman playing just her 2nd career event after enrolling in January.
- For the first time in school history, three Mocs finished under par over 54 holes. Wells led the way at 5 under which was two better than Cooper at 3 under. Healey was two more back with 1 under.
- The team's 861 tied for the 6th best total in school history (2024 Spring Break Shootout).
- 3 under for the team was the fifth par or better total for the Mocs all-time & 4th lowest. The last par or better tourney ending was the 2024 UNF Collegiate (-4, 860).
- Wells is the first Moc to win the award in 2025-26.
