CHATTANOOGA (March 21, 2026) — The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team returned to the win column after securing a hard-fought 7-0 victory over Wofford during Southern Conference action on a warm, sunny Saturday afternoon at the UTC Tennis Center on campus.
"That was one of the toughest matches of the season," said head coach
Chad Camper following the dual.
"The teams in the Southern Conference never give up and it's always tough. Credit to each player in bringing all the energy that it took to get a win today."

Emma Pedretti and
Savannah Presson edged out Chloe Elliott and Ella Suk with a 7-5 win at No. 2 to set the stage for a dramatic finish on court No. 3. UTC's
Jordan Fenton and
Ella Mancuso triumphed in a tiebreaker over Katie Godfree and Marie Henriksen, 7-6 (9-7), to give Chattanooga the team point and 1-0 lead.
Despite winning all singles matches, it was a hard-fought battle on all six courts for the Mocs. Presson opened the scoring with a 7-5, 6-3 win over Godfree at No. 3 before Pedretti posted a 6-2, 7-5 win over Suk at No. 4 to put UTC ahead 3-0.
Zara Burns clinched the match with the team's fourth point at No. 5, claiming a 7-5, 7-5 victory over Elliott.
Iacono returned to No. 1 singles and posted a three-set victory over Grace Agster (6-1, 3-6, 6-4) before Fenton made it 6-0 in the team score with a 7-5, 7-5 winner on court No. 5. Rufaro Magaria completed the 7-0 shutout victory with a 6-1, 1-6, 6-3 victory on court No. 2
