HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (March 22, 2026) — The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team picked up its second win in as many days after securing a 4-0 shutout victory on the road at non-conference opponent Alabama A&M on Sunday afternoon at the AAMU Tennis Courts in Huntsville, Ala.

"It was great for our team to come out firing after a grind of a match yesterday," said head coach Chad Camper. "The momentum of in doubles helped in our singles matches against a very talented and well-coached group, who play singles extremely well."

In doubles, Emma Pedretti and Savannah Presson delivered a 6-1 win at No. 1 before Jordan Fenton and Addison Iacono secured the team point with a 6-1 victory at No. 2 doubles. The match at No. 3 featuring Ella Mancuso and Margaret Manolache went unfinished at 4-2 as the dual was played under a clinch-clinch format.
 
In singles, Iacono quickly added to the Mocs lead with a straight-set victory at No. 1 over Alicia Owegi (6-2, 6-1). Zara Burns made it 3-0 with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Nardine Salem at No. 4 before Fenton clinched the team victory with a commanding 6-2, 6-0 result against Naomi Blanks at No. 5.
