CHATTANOOGA (April 10, 2026) – The Chattanooga Mocs men's tennis team will conclude its regular season schedule with a Senior Day matchup against Southern Conference opponent UNCG on Saturday afternoon at the UTC Tennis Complex
 
First service is set for Noon (ET) with Senior Day festivities set for 11:45 a.m. (ET) ahead of the match. Chattanooga will recognize a trio of graduates in Cortland Grove, Kristof Kincses and Carter Ramthun.

- Chattanooga (9-11, 3-3 SoCon) enters the match on a tough three-match skid… pair of narrow 4-3 defeats to Samford and Mercer before a 7-0 defeat on the road at nationally ranked No. 60 ETSU last Thursday.
- Chattanooga is looking to secure 10+ wins in a season for the fourth-straight campaign… the last time with four-straight seasons featuring 10+ wins was a stretch from 2005-2008… would be the sixth under head coach Chuck Merzbacher.
- Jakub Jupa leads the team in singles this season with a 14-5 dual record (all at the No. 1 spot)… Jupa had a 13-match winning streak snapped in a tough 2-6, 7-6 (5), 7-10 defeat to ETSU's Oscar Martinez last Thursday.
 
UNCG Notables
- UNCG (7-13, 2-4 SoCon) is coming off a 4-3 non-conference win over UNC Asheville on Tuesday… win followed back-to-back defeats to Richmond (L, 2-5) and Mercer (L, 2-5) last week.
- UNCG has collected SoCon wins over Wofford (W, 4-3) and The Citadel (W, 5-2) this season… both occurred on the road… Spartans have tallied at least two team points in all six of its league matches this season.
- UNCG is led by No. 1 singles player Tymofiy Khrystyuk who has registered a 9-6 record in dual singles… perfect 5-0 at No. 1 singles within SoCon play… John Gabelic leads the team in singles wins with 10 (10-8 record; 8-7 at No. 2).
