CHATTANOOGA (April 11, 2026) — The Chattanooga Mocs men's tennis team concluded regular season action with a convincing 6-1 victory over Southern Conference foe UNCG on Saturday afternoon during Senior Day festivities at the UTC Tennis Center.
"After doubles, the response from everybody on every court was just huge. I'm extremely happy for the seniors to get this last match on senior day," said head coach
Chuck Merzbacher following the match.
"I just like the way we responded. We've been through kind of a tough year and have been in a lot of close matches. I think all that adversity really paid off today. I love seeing these guys [seniors] come in the building every day. They are awesome kids and you just want everything good to happen for them. They're so easy to cheer for and I just hope we can keep this season going as long as possible."
