CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Tuesday marks Chattanooga Volleyball's annual Blue-Gold Scrimmage, where fans are invited to come out and get a sneak peak of this year's team. Admission is free and concession items will be available. 

First serve is scheduled for 5 p.m. from Maclellan Gym. The intrasquad scrimmage will divide UTC's 2026 roster into two teams, providing a chance for Julie Torbett Thomas and her staff to evaluate different lineups in a match setting and give one team bragging rights for the year.

Chattanooga gets its first look at Division I competition later this week on Saturday, Aug. 22 at MTSU for its final scrimmage of preseason. 

The Mocs' regular season slate starts at home, Aug. 28-29 as it hosts the Chattanooga Classic. UTC is scheduled to play Tennessee State, Valparaiso, and UAB. For more information on the opening weekend games, click this link.
