Women’s Golf Head to Final Round in Third in Ohio

Elizabeth Jang and the Chattanooga Mocs are in third-place after 36 holes at the Rocket Classic.
The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team is third after 36 holes at the Rocket Classic. The ladies shot 311 over the first 18 holes at Highland Meadows before answering with 297 in the second of the day. That puts the Mocs in third at 608. Central Michigan leads at 595 by three over Oakland in second (598).
The field returns at 8:30 a.m., for the final round shotgun start. Chattanooga is paired with Akron. The pair start on holes 14-16.

- Jang and Pauliukonyte led the first 18 with a pair of 77s. Carlson was one behind with 78 followed by Roberts' 79. Jang, Carlson and Roberts made their Mocs debuts with this round.
- Chattanooga began on holes 10-13 in a shotgun start. It was tough sledding early before four birdies at the par 5 16th.
- The group settled in on the second 18. Jang and Carlson coming in with 72 and 73; respectively. Bugg added 75 while Roberts completed round two with 77.
