The Chattanooga Mocs home opener is this weekend with ticket specials, fan promotions & celebrations on tap.
The Chattanooga Mocs football home opener is upon us. The Mocs and 12th-ranked Tennessee Tech square off at 6 p.m., Saturday evening in Finley Stadium. Here is all you need to know to be prepared for a Saturday night in Chattanooga.
Promotions
Future Fans Night
Those 12 and under are admitted FREE with paying adult by notifying event staff at the entrance gate.
Rally Towel Giveaway
Light up rally towels will be distributed to the first 1,000 fans after entry into the stadium.
Special Events
Little Moc Walk
The Chattanooga Mocs Alumni Office is holding its fourth annual Little Moc Walk. Kids 12 and under will lead the tailgate to the stadium beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Body Armor T-Shirt Toss
This first quarter promotion comes at the third media timeout. Spirit squads toss Body Armor branded Chattanooga t-shirts to the crowd.
Dr Pepper Pass for Tuition
Students compete throughout the season to see who can throw the most football balls into the giant Dr Pepper can and win $10,000 in tuition.
Great Clips Kick for Cuts
Two lucky fans get a chance to win a Mocs Swag Pack by making a 25-yard field goal late in the second quarter.
Jack's Lucky Seat
Early in third quarter, a lucky section and row is announced as winners of the Jack's Lucky Seat. This group wins complementary cards with free food items from Jack's.

NFC-enabled ticketing
No screenshots will be valid for entry. Tickets must be downloaded in your mobile digital wallet prior to entry. Simply tap your ticket(s) to the pedestal scanner at the gate to receive a valid scan. Event staff are readily available to assist.
Walk through metal detectors
New state-of-the-art metal detectors are at every gate to speed safe passage into Finley Stadium. Upon arrival at the gate, proceed through the center pillars, keeping a safe distance from each post without touching or bumping the system. Keep moving unless you are asked to stop by security personnel. You can keep smaller items, such as cell phones and keys inside your clear bags or pockets. Take out items such as laptops and collapsible umbrellas and hold them in your hand.
Student Information
Entry to all Chattanooga athletics events is FREE to students. New for 2026-27, the UTC Athletics Student Access Pass. This pass grants full-time students at UTC admission into all ticketed sporting events. These include football, men's basketball, women's basketball, wrestling and softball. The pass remains in the digital wallet and may be scanned at the point of entry. See below for more information on student seating.
How It Works:
UTC Athletics has loaded all access passes into accounts. If you do not see it in your account, there is a chance that you registered for classes after the date that passes were loaded.
How to Download Your Pass:
The pass will be saved in the digital wallet for future athletic events that require a ticket.
Students should sit in the designated student sections for each sport. These are:
Students will still need to sign in under the Student Tickets portal at GoMocs.com/Tickets to purchase student guest tickets. Guest tickets are offered for football and men's and women's basketball.

Finley Stadium Upgrades
Keeping our "new for 2026" vibe going…you'll notice the first difference at the first sound you here in the stadium. Finley has a brand-new sound system to enhance the fan experience where Chattanooga plays.
There are a myriad of personal spaces now as well. The Erlanger Calming Corner, Erlanger Mother's Room, Kulture City Sensory Kits and a Morning Pointe Stadium Shuttle. Fans may request a ride by texting the Stadium Help Line at (423) 830-2583. Click here for more information.
Ultra Experience
The Ultra Club is open on the concourse on the home side of the stadium. It's an indoor, air-conditioned space for all fans with a cash bar.
Everything is Cashless on Gamedays
No cash will change hands at Mocs athletics venues. That includes tickets, concessions, merchandising and even parking. Be prepared to pay by credit/debit card when coming to enjoy the hard-working efforts of our student-athletes and coaches. Pro tip, try paying with the Power C debit card proudly offered by FirstBank.
Parking & Tailgating
It's tough to beat tailgating in the Pavilion. If you have not joined the Mocs Club at a level that includes parking at athletics events, it's $15 per space in the open lots. Several adjoining lots are reserved for donors as well as other figures central to the event.

Moc Walk/Moc Rock
The Moc Walk tradition continues this season with the team arriving at First Horizon Pavilion and making their way through our phenomenal tailgating area next to Finley Stadium. The Moc Walk is approximately 2:15 prior to kickoff, in this case, 3:45 p.m.
The Marching Mocs also offer a gameday feature, the Mocs Rock Spirit Parade & Concert. It starts right after the Moc Walk in the pavilion.
Clear Bag Policy
There is a clear bag policy in place for all Mocs athletics events. Fans are allowed to bring in one plastic, vinyl or PVC clear bag that does not exceed 12" x 6" x 12" to home games at Finley Stadium. Check it out here.
Gear Up
The Barnes & Noble Fan Store is in the Ultra Club in the south concourse of the stadium.
