2008-09:  Earned a pin in his one dual match against Gardner-Webb ...

Chattanooga Central High School: Four-time qualifier for TSSAA State Championship finishing in fourth-place as a senior in 2005...did not finish lower than fourth in regionals throughout four-year career with the Purple Pounders wrestling for three different coaches (John Crawford, Michael Jackson and Steve Price)...three-time state qualifier in cross country and also ran track...member of FBLA, FCLA and was named Most Athletic. 

Personal: Born July 8, 1987 in Chattanooga, Tenn....son of Patty Banther and Ed Stokes...has one daughter, London Michelle...majoring in Secondary Education.
