2016-17 • JUNIOR SEASON:  Went 1-2 at 133 and lost one match at 149 ... made the Dean's List in the fall and the A.D. Honor Roll both semesters ... 4.0 GPA in the fall ... made the SoCon Honor Roll and earned the SoCon Commissioner's Medal.

2015-16 • SOPHOMORE SEASON:  Made the Dean's List in the fall and the A.D. Honor Roll both semesters ... made the SoCon Honor Roll.  

2014-15 • REDSHIRT SEASON:  Sat out the season as a redshirt ... made the Dean's List and the A.D. Honor Roll both semesters ... made the SoCon Honor Roll. 

2013-14 • FRESHMAN SEASON:  Went 0-2 at the Hokie Open in only action of the season … made the Dean’s List in the fall … made the SoCon Honor Roll. 

PRIOR TO UTC:  Led Thompson High School in Alabaster, Ala., to three consecutive team state titles … 136-34 career record … wrestled for head coach Shawn Weltzin … third in the state as a junior … member of the National Honor Society.    

PERSONAL:  Full name is Austin Dean Gould … born June 27, 1995 … son of Brett and Joy Gould … father played tennis at Samford … has one younger brother … Chemistry major.
