2016-17 • SOPHOMORE SEASON:  Went 1-5 at 174 ... defeated Bucknell's Connor Waugh at the Virginia Duals ... made the Dean's List and the A.D. Honor Roll in the spring ... made the SoCon Honor Roll.    

2015-16 • FRESHMAN SEASON:  Went 3-2 at 174 ... sixth place finish at the Hokie Open (Fr./So.) ... made the Dean's List in the spring and the A.D. Honor Roll both semesters ... made the SoCon Honor Roll. 

PRIOR TO UTC:  Two-time NHSCA All-American … competed at Maryville (Tenn.) High School where he wrestled for head coach Mark Humphrey … three-time state champion … Maryville High School Athlete of the Year. 
 
PERSONAL:  Son of Jimmy and Joyce Solomon … born March 28, 1996 … has three older brothers … Biology major.
