2019-20
- Martha & Todd Duff Scholarship…Dean’s List and Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
- All-Southern Conference third team pick…All-SoCon Tournament averaging 20.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in the two matchups.
- Started all 33 gams averaging 13.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest…ranked second in scoring and first in rebounding on the squad.
- 441 total points joining Matt Ryan (507) and David Jean-Baptiste (417) as the first Mocs trio since 1992 to top 400 points and just the fifth all-time.
- Shot 61.7 percent from the field…only DI era student-athlete to have two seasons of 60+ percentage shooting making four or FGs per game…60 percent or better in 17 contests...made five or more field goals 21 times with a high of 10 in the home win over Samford and later matched at The Citadel
and in the home triumph over UNC Greensboro...seven or more FG made in 10 contests.
- Double figures in 24 games...career-high 24 points while adding a team-best eight boards in home winover Samford... also had 20 in wins over VMI (23), at The Citadel (20), UNCG (21) at home and in the SoCon Tourney win (22).
- Tied his career high of 12 rebounds in the tournament triumph over UNCG with his first 20&10 performance…10 boards at Troy...grabbed seven or more 14 times.
- Career highs of three blocks & five steals in win over UNCG...27.3% of his blocks and 25% of steals output.
- Scored 500th career collegiate point in home win over Wofford ending up with 14 on the night...500th point in a UTC uniform came at Wofford.
 
2018-19
- Martha & Todd Duff Scholarship…Athletics Director’s Honor Roll student.
- Started 17 of 22 games played…third on the team in scoring at 10.2 per game and second in rebounding (5.2).
- First action came off the bench at Georgia State...six points & six boards (tying career high) in 17 minutes.
- 13 double-digit scoring games with first of his career at Ole Miss with 10 points off the bench.
- Scored career-high 18 at UNCG shooting 8-12 from the field...later matched in home win over Samford recording his first career double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds...registered his other double-double in road win at The Citadel scoring 10 points and grabbing a career-best 12 rebounds...matched career-high with two blocks in Charleston.
- Huge block on Mercer’s next-to-last possession help seal the three-point home win...two blocks on the night...six multi-block nights leading the team with 19 (0.9 bpg).
- 17 points, six boards and two blocks in home triumph over The Citadel.
- Made his first collegiate 3pt (and followed with another a few possessions later) in the home loss to ETSU.
- Led team in scoring once (18 at UNCG) and seven times on the glass.
- Team-best 62.5 percent from the field...shot 60 percent or better in 17 of 22 games played...made five or more field goals 10 times with a high of eight at UNCG and in home win over Samford...last Moc to shoot 60+ percent making at least four FG per game was Justin Tuoyo (64.5%) in 2016-17 and before Tuoyo was 20 years prior with Chris Mims’ 64.8% in 1996-97.
 
2017-18
- Decided to transfer from Arizona State before the season began…enrolled at Chattanooga in January 2018.
- SoCon Honor Roll.
 
2016-17 (Arizona State)
- Started four of his 33 appearances...three of the starts came in Pac-12 play (Colorado, Utah & at UCLA)...played double-digit minutes in 24 of his 33 outings.
- Averaged 2.6 points and 2.0 rebounds in 12.3 minutes per game.
- Season highs of seven points (Portland State), six rebounds (Tulane) and two blocks (Utah).
- Shot 64.7 percent (33-51) from the field and 62.6 percent (21-33) at the free throw line.
 
SPAIN
- Represented Spain in nearly 50 FIBA Junior team events...averaged 9.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game in six years of FIBA play.
- Tallied 11.1 points and 4.9 boards per contest for the 2017 U20 semifinalists making 57.9 percent of his shot attempts...10 points and 5.7 rebounds per game in the medal round (4th-place finish).
- Helped lead the 2016 team to U20 European Championships Gold Medal posting 8.4 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists per contest...18 points and 14 rebounds in the championship game vs. Lithuania.
- Led the 2015 U18 European Championships squad with a 12.7 scoring average adding 5.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game.
- Also competed with the 2015 U19 World Championships with his best game coming against Austria scoring 15 with eight boards.
- Contributed 10.7 points and 4.1 rebounds per game in 2014 U17 World Championships...had 20 points and 10 boards in bronze medal loss to Serbia.
- 2013 U16 European Championships team was first FIBA experience averaging 9.9 points and 5.1 rebounds per contest.
- Built reputation as a skilled big playing 29 games with FC Barcelona's second-division entry prior to signing with Arizona State...posted 5.3 points and 3.7 rebounds in 15.4 minutes per contest making 56.1 percent from the field.
 
PERSONAL
- Born Sept. 11 in Barcelona, Spain...son of Robert Vila and Mercé Soley.
- Fan of scary movies and enjoys hiking with an abundance of options in the Chattanooga area.
