Biography

- Pronounced STEF-fun KEN-nich.
- August 2019 transfer from Cleveland State University…granted NCAA waiver for immediate eligibility on Nov. 26, 2019.
- School-record 7-7 performance from 3pt range in OT win over Western Carolina on Feb. 17, 2021…bettered 6-6 by Gary Robb '94 & Brandon Born '95.
- Graduated in May 2021 and embarked on his pro career…finished with 1,117 total points in 119 collegiate games between his two stops.
 
2020-21
- Started all 26 games…averaged 11.8 points and 3.7 rebounds in 27.5 minutes per game.
- Career-high 29 points led the comeback win over Western Carolina at home…team trailed by 12 with 3:24 to go before a 12-0 run to the regulation buzzer out-scoring the Catamounts 26-6 over final 8:24 including OT)…also topped 20 in wins over North Georgia (23) and Mercer (27).
- 37.4 percent shooter beyond the arc with multiple treys in eight…school record 7-7 vs Western Carolina.
- Team-best 87.5 percent at the free throw line…consecutive FT made streaks of 19 (Dec. 12-22), 18 (Feb. 6-Mar. 6) and 15 (Jan. 2-13)…seven games with six or more FT made…three with 6-6 or better including 8-8 in the road win at UAB.
- Impressive 37/25 (1.5) assist-to-turnover work for a big man…third on the team behind A.J. Caldwell (2.3) and KC Hankton (2.2)…career-high seven assists in the win over Northern Kentucky.
- Team-best 12 blocks…multiple blocks twice with two in back-to-back games with Furman and at VMI.
- Eight games with six or more FG made with a high eight against Northern Kentucky, at VMI, Mercer and Western Carolina.
- Dean's List and A.D. Honor Roll student.
 
2019-20
- 27 games played with two starts…averaged 7.2 points and 2.6 rebounds in 15.6 minutes per contest.
- Shot 45.8 percent overall including 40.0 percent from 3pt range…80.0 percent free throw shooter.
- Seven times in double figures with a high of 17 in home win over Samford...led team in scoring thrice.
- Fell two short of the school record for consecutive 3pt made going 3-3 against Furman followed by 5-5 performance against Samford which tied for the 3rd best in a single game in school history one shy of the 6-6 record set by Gary Robb at Alaska-Anchorage (11/27/92) and Brandon Born in the Roundhouse against Southern Miss (1/2/94)....multiple threes in five contests.
- First appearance came in Florida with 15 points and five rebounds in 17 minutes off the bench against Alabama State.
 
CLEVELAND STATE
- Played two seasons at CSU for Dennis Felton…averaged 9.3 points per game in 66 appearances with 59 starts…scored 617 points with 241 rebounds…42.4 percent shooter, 35.0 percent from 3pt range and 75.8 percent at the free throw line.
- Made 1.3 3pt per game in his Vikings career…forced 2OT with a 3pt with 6.7 seconds at Youngstown State, an eventual 99-94 win in Feb. 2018…multiple treys 27 times with three or more in seven…high of four as a sophomore in wins over Bowling Green and Notre Dame (Ohio).
- Double-figure scorer in 31 games…career-high 19 against South Carolina State (soph) and Detroit (frosh).
- Career-best nine rebounds in a league loss at IUPUI as a sophomore…five or more boards on 19 occasions.
- Decent year taking care of the basketball playing at the center position as a sophomore with 42 assists against 46 turnovers (0.91 A/TO)…career-high four assists in 2018-19 season opener at Davidson.
 
SERBIA
- Played for Red Star Belgrade and KK Smederevo in his pre-college preparation…started 17 of the 24 games averaging 8.0 points and 6.0 rebounds for one of the top clubs in the first Serbian Division.
- Earned 30 appearances for various national squads representing Serbia.
- Competed with the U20 Serbian National Team at the FIBA Euro Championships in Greece in 2017…fourth Moc upon his joining the squad who have played for their national teams at some level: Ramon Vila (Spain), David Jean-Baptiste (Haiti) and Alex Tostado (Mexico)…2-1 mark in pool play with only blemish coming by one point, 88-87, to a Spanish squad that featured Vila.
- Helped Serbia U16 to a gold medal at the European Youth Olympics Festival and a silver medal at the FIBA Euro Championships in 2013…team went 9-2 losing 65-63 to Vila and Spain in the finals.
- Led the U17 team to a bronze medal at the 2014 FIBA World Championships, which included an 18-point effort in a victory over Argentina…squad went undefeated in pool play reaching the semifinals losing to the U.S., before claiming the bronze with a 62-59 triumph in a rematch with Vila and Spain.
- Helped the U18 team to a fifth-place showing at the 2015 FIBA Euro Championships…5-3 mark in pool play before a quarterfinal loss in OT to Turkey…topped Vila’s Spanish side and France to close out in fifth.
