Calvin Williams became graduate manager in September 2019 after the promotion of Colby Arendale to director of basketball ops. It was a promotion of sorts for Williams as well who is entering his first post-grad position.

Williams served as a Mocs student manager during the 2018-19 season. That allowed him a glimpse of what his current position requires as one of the mainstays of the travel group.

He’s dabbled in video work, on-court skills development and equipment. All of those tasks are amplified in the current role along with travel assistance, monitoring student-athlete development and scouting.

The May 2019 graduate earned his degree in Sport Administration. He is a native of Franklin, Tenn., where he played basketball at Independence High School. Williams’ Master’s track is in Teach Leadership.
