chattanooga MOCS

2009-10
Played in the six Spring tournaments...a 4.0 student and is the Dayle May Award winner given annually to the Chattanooga senior student-athletes (male & female) with the highest cumulative GPA...low round of 76 came in the first round at the NCAA East Regional helping the Mocs to a season-high tying 293...posted her low 54-hole total in her six events by 12 shots at regionals...Academic All-Conference, Dean's List and Honor Roll.

SUMMER 2009
Katie played in the Southern Women's Amateur, Golf Capital of Tennessee Women's Open and the Trans Am.

2008-09
Katie played in three events as an individual...finished tied for 46th at the Chris Banister Classic in the season opener...best finish was tied for 22nd at Lady Mocs Intercollegiate...Academic All-Conference.

SUMMER 2008
Katie made the championship flight of the Western Women's Amateur shooting twin 77's to make it into match play losing in the first round (3&2) to Milena Savage.

2007-08
Taylor played in all 11 tournaments...fourth on the team with an 80.55 scoring average...low round of 72 came at the Samford Women's Intercollegiate where she carded her best 54-hole total of 222 (+13) and best finish of tied for 13th...counted to team score 22 of 31 rounds.

TENNESSEE TECH
Won the OVC Medal of Honor and was a recipient of the OVC Commissioner's Medal...named to the Murray State Invitational All-Tournament team.

JEFFERSON COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL
Played for the Patriots of Jefferson County High School before going to Tennessee Tech originally out of high school.

Born November 18, 1987 in Morristown, Tenn....the daughter of J. Daniel and Roxie Taylor...has two older siblings, the Rev. Lynn Jaekley and Julie...majoring in Psychology.
