Saw action all six events, five as a counting team
member…low score of 232 came at SunTrust Gator Women’s Golf Invitational…best
finish was tie for 31st at SoCon Championship…low round of 75 (+3) came in the
final round of the Knights & Pirates Invite…counted in eight of 15 team rounds…tallied
three birdies in a round three times (Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Classic
1/SunTrust Gator 2/SoCon 3)…her tourney-high of six birdies came at SunTrust
Gator…high of 32 pars twice (Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Classic/Knights &
Pirates Invite)…13 pars in a round twice, both final 18 cards at JMU Eagle
Landing Invitational and Knights & Pirates Invite…25 total birdies and 167 pars…Dean’s
List student.
BARRY UNIVERSITY
Made an immediate impact as a freshman playing in 10
tournaments…finished fourth on the squad with an 81.85 stroke average per round…low
round of 75 twice; in the Sunshine State Conference Championship where she tied
for 19th…also had a 75 shooting the low round in dual meet with Northwood…16
counting rounds out of her 20 played…earned SSC Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll
and a spot on the Barry University Athletic Director’s List in the spring…played
in three fall events in 2011 posting her best finish of 13th in a 101-player
field at Flagler Fall Slam.
AUSTRIA
Played in the Austrian amateur ranks from 2002-09 …member of
the Austrian Youth Golf Team and the Austrian Junior Golf Tour…won the 2006 U16
national championship and finished third in U16 in 2007…four wins on the
Austrian Junior Golf Tour in 2008…youngest Austrian player at the 2008 European
Ladies Championship finishing an impressive tied for 39th…scholastic work at Mary
Ward privat Oberstufenrealgymnasium.
PERSONAL
Born March 10, 1992…daughter of Peter and Patricia Weilguni…has
one older brother, Benni, who is a sophomore on the UTC men’s golf team…majoring
in Psychology.
