Lauren joined the Chattanooga Mocs in May 2015 as an administrative assistant. It didn’t take long for her to expand that role becoming the director of basketball operations in June 2016.
She was part of a staff that produced a record year as the Mocs won a school-best 29 contests in 2015-16. That led to the 11th Southern Conference Regular Season and Tournament titles as well as the 11th NCAA DI Tournament berth.
Mills came to the Scenic City after a season at the University of Texas. She was the men’s basketball administrative assistant for the 2014-15 season. Prior to Texas, she spent a year in operations with the University of Florida Athletics Association.
The Douglasville, Ga., native is a 2013 graduate of Florida with a degree in Telecommunications. She is addicted to hummus.
