Lindsey Felix joined the Chattanooga athletic department in August of 2010. She had a short move across campus after serving as a graduate assistant in the Center for Advisement and Student Success.

Felix manages the academic success and planning for women’s basketball, softball, men’s and women’s golf and wrestling. Her responsibilities include monitoring student-athletes' progress towards degree and NCAA eligibility.  She also provides advisement on course selection, graduation and career planning, as well as scheduling tutoring and other academic assistance to student-athletes.

During her time at UTC, women’s basketball, women's golf, soccer, softball and wrestling teams have set program records for semester grade-point-average.  Women’s golf has ranked among the top 15 in the nation among NCAA DI programs, while volleyball and soccer both had record numbers make the Academic All-SoCon team.

Her work received national attention in 2013. She earned the prestigious Professional Promise Award from the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletes.

A native of Wilmington, N.C., Felix earned her B.A. in Spanish from Tennessee Tech in 2009.  She completed her Master's Degree in Education at UTC in December of 2011 and currently resides in Chattanooga.   Formerly Lindsey Wendorf, she married Kelly Felix in May 2015.  They have a daughter Avett, and a son, Evan.
