2015-16 • FRESHMAN SEASON:  Lost both of the dual matches he participated in at 125 ... made the Dean's List and the A.D. Honor Roll in the fall ... made the SoCon Honor Roll. 

PRIOR TO UTC:  Two-time state champion from Coal City (Ill.) High School … 95-2 record last two seasons … competed for head coach Mark Masters … finished second in the state and a sophomore and fifth as a freshman … Minnick Daily Journal Wrestler of the Year … 184-10 career record is ninth all-time in Illinois … honor roll student and member of the National Honor Society.   

PERSONAL:  Son of Thomas and Michele Minnick … born Sept. 18, 1996 … has an older brother, Michael, and a younger sister, Hannah …Civil Engineering major.
