2014-15 • SENIOR SEASON: Did not compete due to an injury ... graduated in December with a degree in Health & Human Performance ... made the Dean's List and the A.D. Honor Roll in the fall.

2013-14 • JUNIOR SEASON: Posted an 11-5 overall mark … went 7-2 in duals and 4-3 in tournament action … fourth place finish at the Navy Classic … season ended with a knee injury at Stanford … made the Dean’s List both semesters … named to the SoCon Honor Roll and earned the SoCon Commissioner’s Medal. 

2012-13 • SOPHOMORE SEASON: Posted an 18-10 overall record at heavyweight ... just missed an at-large bid to the NCAAs ... finished second at the SoCon Championships ... made the SoCon Honor Roll ... made the A.D. Honor Roll in the fall and the Dean’s List in the spring. 

2011-12 • FRESHMAN SEASON: Competed at heavyweight and was a member of the SoCon All-Freshman team ... went 25-12 on the year ... was 11-6 in duals and 5-1 in SoCon action ... fifth place finish at the Hokie Open ... third place showing at the Davidson Open ... went 3-0 in the Lone Star Duals ... finished second in the SoCon Championships ... earned the team’s Most Improved Award at the postseason banquet.

2010-11 • REDSHIRT SEASON: Did not compete in his first collegiate season.

PRIOR TO UTC: District champion and finished third in the state while competing for head coach Ken Posiak at Carrollton High School in Carrollton, Ohio...posted a 41-5 record as a senior...went 34-7 as a junior...finished 4th in the Top Gun Tournament...also played football and baseball in high school...earned honorable mention all-district honors in football.

PERSONAL: Full name is Kevin Jaymes Malone...born August 13, 1991...son of Kevin and Marybeth Malone...has an older sister and two younger brothers...enjoys playing the guitar...majoring in Exercise Science...also recruited by Ohio State and Kent State.
