Wrestling won third-straight SoCon regular season and tournament titles. Matt Keller repeated as All-American at the NCAA Championships. He placed fourth at 133 pounds. Keller was one seven Mocs to win individual SoCon Titles, including Javier Maldonado (125), Michael Keefe (141), Jake Yost (157), T.J. Sayers (165), Josh Edmondson (184) and Matt Koz (HWT).
In addition to the seven SoCon Champions, Aaron Martin (149) and Lloyd Rogers (174) qualified for the NCAA Championships, giving the Mocs nine of a possible 10 representatives. UTC went on to finish 21
st at the NCAA Championships.
Keller was the SoCon Wrestling of the Year, while Chris Bono was the SoCon Coach of the Year.
Women's basketball won the SoCon Regular Season for the eighth year in a row and its second-straight tournament championships. Alex Anderson was named the SoCon Player of the Year and the tournament MVP. She was joined on the All-SoCon team by Laura Hall.
Men's golf won the SoCon Tournament for the second time in school history. Jonathan Hodge was the SoCon Player of the Year. Derek Rende was the SoCon Freshman of the Year. Bryce Ledford joined them on the All-SoCon team and Mark Guhne was the Coach of the Year.
Softball won the SoCon Regular Season title. Brooke Loudermilk was named the SoCon Pitcher of the Year and the SoCon Freshman of the Year. She was joined on the All-SoCon team by Tia Blosser and Jeannie Cochran.
Women's cross country won its second-straight SoCon Championship. They went on to finish sixth at the NCAA Regionals.
Runner Lani Marchant was named the SoCon Athlete of the Year after winning the SoCon Cross Country title. Second year in a row a member of the women's track & field/cross country team has won the league's top individual honor for all sports.
Marchant was also the Cross Country Runner of the Year. She made the NCAA Cross Country All-Region team by placing second at the regionals, qualifying for the NCAA Championships where she placed 76
th.
Marchant won the 5000M at the SoCon Indoor and Outdoor Championships. She also won the 10000M at the SoCon Outdoors. Kathleen Turchin made the NCAA Outdoor All-Region team by placing eighth in the 5000M. Marchant and Kathleen Turchin competed at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Football running back Eldra Buckley earned Honorable Mention Football Gazette All-American honors. He was joined on the All-SoCon teams by linebacker Chris Johnson, offensive lineman Justin Matherson and cornerback Quintez Smith.
Tim Clark made the men's cross country All-SoCon team.
Keddric Mays made the men's basketball media All-SoCon third team.
Men's tennis Mark Flynn made second team All-SoCon singles, while Artyom Vlasenko and Badr Bouabdellah were second team doubles.
Stacey Matthiessen made the women's soccer All-SoCon team.
Anastasia Zhukova repeated as the SoCon Women's Tennis Player of the Year. She and Lindsey Ballard made the All-SoCon doubles first team. Zhukova finished the team ranked No. 54 in the nation in singles.
Lara Newberry was the National Libero of the Year by Collegiate Volleyball Update. She was the SoCon Libero of the Year for the second time. Leslee Ball made the volleyball All-SoCon first team.
