Box Score RICHMOND, Ky. --- The Chattanooga men's tennis team fell 6-1 to Eastern Kentucky Saturday in the Greg Adams Tennis Center. Chattanooga falls. to 0-3 on the year and the Colonels move to 2-2 overall.
The Mocs started out the day with a sweep of the doubles matches. Pavel Vostrikov and Sam Parfitt tallied an 8-6 win at the top spot over Alec Das Izquierdo and Niklas Schroeder. At both No. 2 and No. 3, the matches were stretched out to 9-8 wins for Chattanooga at each.
In singles, the Colonels swept all six matches. Sauska at No. 1 and Vostrikov at No. 2 each fell in three sets. This is Chattanooga's first loss to Eastern Kentucky in eight years.
The Mocs will return home to host Belmont next Saturday at the Hixson Racquet Club in a 1 p.m. match.
