TEAM
- UTC drops a 30-20 decision at Georgia Southern...The Mocs are now 4-2 on the season and 2-2 in SoCon play...GSU improves to 4-3 on the year and 3-1 in the SoCon.
- The Mocs were held to a season-low 33 yards on the ground.
- Chattanooga's 241 yards of total offense was also a season-low.
- UTC gave up 320 yards of total offense to the Eagles...it is the most yards allowed by the UTC defense since the second game of the season against Furman.
- Chattanooga forced two fumbles in the game, while committing one of their own...UTC leads the SoCon with a +7 turnover margin on the season.
- The Mocs were 3/14 on third down conversions while Georgia Southern was 9/17 in the same category.
- UTC is now 3-20 all-time against Georgia Southern...the Mocs only win in Statesboro was a 45-38 victory in 2007.

Senior DE Josh Beard
- Recorded a pair of sacks in the first quarter
- Now has 7.5 on the season...leads the SoCon
- Most sacks in a year by a Moc since 2001
Senior PK Craig Camay
- 2 FGs from 40 and 23 yards...6-9 on the season
- 2-2 on PATs...17-19 on the season
- Passed the century-mark in scoring and now has 106 career points...needs 11 points to break into the top-10
Sophomore QB B.J. Coleman
- 23-40 for 208 yards and two TDs
- Season-high for pass attempts
- 200+ yards passing in five of six games this season
- Has 11 TD passes and just one interception on the year.
Sophomore Ryan Consiglio
- 11 tackles in the game
- Second game of the season with 10+ tackles
Senior WR Blue Cooper
- Seven catches for 60 yards
- Passed the 100-catch milestone for his career...now has 105 receptions
Freshman Terrance Davis
- Season-high four catches for 54 yards and a TD
Freshman RB Bo Dyer
