The NCAA's "Pack the House" Challenge enters its third season. Last year the Lady Mocs were the Southern Conference champions of the challenge with 7,008 fans on Nov. 21 when UTC hosted instate foe Tennessee and nearly posted an upset of the two-time defending National Champions. Nine school posted sell-out crowds for the challenge last season and 72 of the 184 participants, set single game attendance records drawing more than 559,000 fans to Division I women's basketball games.

Scouting the Lady Mocs:
The Lady Mocs went 1-1 in their opening weekend on the road. After falling for former SoCon foe East Tennessee State, Chattanooga rebounded and defeated Austin Peay on their own home court. The Lady Mocs were selected by the Southern Conference coaches and media to win their 11th consecutive Southern Conference crown. UTC returns eight veterans including three starters. Shanara Hollinquest, 2008-09 SoCon Player of the Year is one of three returning starters for UTC along with All-Conference and All-SoCon Tournament performer Jenaya Wade-Fray and All-SoCon Tournament selection Tagan Hatchett. Hollinquest leads the team with 17.5 ppg and 7.5 rpg. Freshman Kayla Christopher has gotten the starting nod twice and had a career night against Austin Peay with 13 points, five rebounds, seven assists, two steals and just one turnover. Wade-Fray is averaging 13.5 ppg and four rebounds.

Scouting the Lady Bulldogs:
Georgia moved up in the AP Top 25 poll this week from 21st to 16th. The Lady Bulldogs upset No. 13 Oklahoma 62-51 in Athens. Jasmine James and Porsha Phillips paced Georgia with 15 points apiece while Angel Robinson tossed in 12 points and Ashley Houts added 11. Phillips recorded a double-double with 12 rebounds. The Lady Bulldogs connected on just 2-of-11 from the 3-point line, but took advantage of 17 trips to the charity stripe making 12 free throws.
