On the obvious frustration of the game:
"I don't know what word to put it to.  I guess frustrated.  We had such a great day of work yesterday, then to start out like that.  I don't think it is a physical thing to tell you the truth.  They can do it, it is up in their heads right now." 

"I can't tell you in my 26-27 years of coaching how many times I have felt like this, but we are dealing with young kids and they recover.  Better than me. We are going back home and regroup and get back to work."

On the play of Florida International:
"They are very difficult to play.  When their two bigs got into foul trouble, they went five guards.  That's five tough athletes and that is tough to play against."

On the slow start:
"We brought it to practice yesterday, but things just don't change in a day.  You don't become a great team in a day.  It takes day after day getting after it.  We came out tonight, and once again, we were flat.  It is just us.  We have to pick it up.  Each of us has to look ourselves in the mirror and just bring energy everyday because that is what we are lacking."

"They are a hard team to play against because they have so many guards.  They are talented and they get after it.  They mix up defenses and they can really guard.  I am a really positive guy, but we have to wake up.  It is still on us.  It is Division I, they are good players, but we have to step it up.  The coaches are getting us prepared, but we came here to play college basketball and we need to start acting like we want to come out and play."
