TEAM
- The Mocs improve to 3-0 in Southern Conference action, 5-6 overall, with a 71-65 win at Elon.

- UTC is 3-0 in SoCon play for the first time since the 2007-08 season when it opened 7-0.

- Mocs take a 9-8 lead in the all-time series with the Phoenix...UTC evens its record at 4-4 at Elon...Chattanooga snaps a two-game skid at Elon.

- Trailing 53-52 with 7:32 left in the game, the Mocs went on a 6-0 run to take control of the game...UTC did not trail in the final seven minutes of action. 

- UTC shot just 17-29 (58.6%) from the FT line...but they hit them when it counted, going 8-10 from the charity stripe in the final two-plus minutes.

- Junior Chris Early slammed the door on the Phoenix with an And-1 dunk off a feed from fellow junior Keegan Bell with 29 seconds left.  That gave UTC a 69-62 lead. 

- Elon came into the game leading the SoCon in scoring with 78.6 ppg...the Mocs held the Phoenix to just 65 points, tying for its second lowest output of the season. 

- UTC outscored Elon 24-10 in the paint.

- Elon's bench outscored the Mocs' reserves 41-17...thanks in part to Phoenix freshman Jack Isenbarger's 22 points off the bench...he was 8-16 from the field and 6-11 from 3-pt range...Take away Isenbarger and the Phoenix shoots 15 of 43 (34.9%) from the floor and 5 of 22 (22.7%) from 3-pt range.

- UTC shot 52.0% (13-25) in the second half...it was the best shooting % in any half since hitting 53.6% (15-28) in the second half at Kennesaw State...Mocs finished 43.4% (23-53) from the field.

- Mocs dominated the boards, outrebounding Elon 48-31...that included 13 offensive rebounds, leading to a 15-8 advantage in second chance points for Chattanooga...6 Mocs had 5 or more boards. 

- UTC tied a season-low with just eight assists in the game. 

- Elon led by 10 in the first half...26-16 with 7:24 left in the first frame. 

- Junior Keegan Bell was 7-8 from the FT line...rest of the team was 10-21.

INDIVIDUAL
Junior Keegan Bell
- Tied a career-high with a game-high 23 points.
- Shot 6-13 from the field, 4-10 from 3-pt. range and 7-8 from the FT line.
- Tied for game-high with four assists.
- Tied season-high with five rebounds.
- Logged 38 minutes...fourth straight game with 38+ minutes.
- Was 0-9 from 3-pt. range in his previous three games.

Senior DeAntre Jefferson
- 10 points off the bench
- Shot 4-4 from the field and 2-5 from the FT line.
- Tied for game-high with 10 rebounds.
- First double of the season, second of his career.
- Shooting 77.8% (21-27) over last 6 games.

Junior Omar Wattad
- 16 points on 5-17 shooting, 3-9 from 3-pt. range and 3-4 from the FT line.
- Career-high seven rebounds.
- Career-high 37 minutes.
- Hit 13-31 (41.9%) from 3-pt. range in the last four games.
