Played two seasons as a reserve guard for the Hoyas...averaged 2.6 points and 1.4 rebounds in 11.1 minutes over 25 games as a sophomore...earned first career start vs. FIU (12/23/08)...scored career-high nine points and grabbed career-best five rebounds against Tennessee...appeared in 11 games as a freshman scoring a season-high five-points with two rebounds in six minutes against Jacksonville.

SCIENCE HILL
Omar was a highly-sought wing out of Science Hill High School in Johnson City where he was a two-time all-state selection and two-time region most valuable player for Ken Cutlip...was the school's all-time leading scorer with 2,191 points at the end of his prep career...played in the Tennessee Athletic Coaches Association East-West All-Star Game...averaged 20.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists as a junior in 2005-06...led the Hilltoppers' to the Big 9 Conference Championship...as named the Kingsport Times-News' 2006 Northeast Player of the Year...played AAU for the Tennessee Travelers...was ranked the No. 85 shooting guard in the 2007 class by Scouts, Inc., on ESPN.com with a grade of 76 signing with Georgetown over Chattanooga, Vanderbilt, UMass and Southern Illinois.
