TEAM
- The Mocs advance to the finals of the 2010 Dr Pepper Classic with an 89-51 win over Montreat...UTC is above .500 for the first time this season with a 7-6 overall mark. 

- Chattanooga is 34-7 (.829) in the Dr Pepper Classic...20-1 (.952) in the opening round.

- UTC is 632-381 (.624) since moving to Division I in 1977-78...399-99 (.801) at home...339-88 (.794) in McKenzie Arena.

- Five players scored in double-figures and seven had at least eight points in the game for Chattanooga. 

- The Mocs' 89 points are the second-most in a game this season...107 vs. Reinhardt on Dec. 21 is the season-high. 

- UTC was 9-31 from 3-pt. range for just 29.0%...Troy Cage, Jeff Smith and Omar Wattad combined to shoot 9-19 from 3-pt. range...the rest of the team was 0-12 from deep...the Mocs were 23-34 (67.6%) from inside the arc and 49.2% from the field overall.

- The Mocs had a season-high 11 steals in the game.

- Chattanooga also had a season-high six blocks. 

- UTC forced Montreat into 18 turnovers while only committing 14...that resulted in a 22-11 advantage in points off of turnovers for Chattanooga. 

- The Mocs held an 18-0 advantage in fast break points and outscored Montreat 40-16 in the paint. 

- UTC got 53 points from its bench tonight.

- The Mocs will face Georgia State in the finals of the 2010 DR Pepper Classic tomorrow at 7:00 p.m...the Panthers defeated Texas A&M Corpus Christi 72-42 in the first game tonight...GSU was led by Dante Curry's 18 points on 6-10 shooting from 3-pt. range.

INDIVIDUAL
Junior Keegan Bell 
- Held scoreless for the first time this season and just fifth time as a Moc. 
- Only took two shots in a season-low 21 minutes.
- Game-high eight assists.
- Leads the SoCon with 6.7 assists per game.
- Sixth game with 8+ assists this season.
- Tied a season-high with three steals. 

Senior Troy Cage
- Career-high 16 points.
- Shot 7-10 from the field and 2-5 from 3-pt. range.
- Season-high seven rebounds.
- Tied a career-high with three assists.
- Third time in his career he has hit two 3-pt. FGs...second game in a row. 

Sophomore Dontay Hampton
- Career-high 11 points.
- Shot 3-7 from the field...5-5 from the FT line.
- Season-high three assists and no turnovers in 19 minutes off the bench.
- Added two steals.

Senior DeAntre Jefferson
- Nine points and a team-high 10 rebounds. 
- One point shy of his second double-double of the season. 
- 5-5 from the FT line...came into the game shooting 45.6% from the field. 

Senior Jeff Smith
- Career-high 15 points.
- Shot 5-10 from the field, 3-8 from 3-pt. range and 2-2 from the FT line.
- Season-high 22 minutes.
- All 22 of his points this season have come in the last two games. 

Junior Omar Wattad
- 15 points on 5-9 shooting, 4-6 from 3-pt. range and 1-2 from the FT line.
- 20-42 (47.6%) from 3-pt. range in the last six games...36.8% (35-95) on the year.
- Double-figures in nine of last 10 games. 
- Third game with four or more 3-pt. FGs.
