TEAM
- UTC improves to 2-2 on the year and 1-1 in SoCon action with a 27-21 win over Western Carolina.

- UTC picked off three passes for the third game in a row...Mocs came into the game ranked third in the SoCon and No. 6 in the nation in interceptions.

- Chattanooga had three turnovers (INT and two fumbles) in the red zone in the second half tonight...the Mocs turned the ball over four times in the game.     

- Western Carolina scored first on a 32-yard touchdown pass to Jacoby Mitchell from Josh Cockrell with 4:48 left in the first quarter.  It is the first time UTC has trailed in any of the first three quarters this season. 

- Tonight's win is the second SoCon road win under Head Coach Russ Huesman (14-7 at Samford on Oct. 10, 2009)...UTC had only had two SoCon road wins from 2006-08 and just six since 2000. 

- UTC went 3-and-out on its first two possessions.

- WCU picked up a fumble and returned it 5 yards for a TD...it is the first time UTC has allowed a fumble return for a TD since Marquise Elston ran one back five yards for Jacksonville State on Sept. 8, 2007.   

INDIVIDUAL
Junior WR Joel Bradford
- Eight catches for 91 yards

Senior QB B.J. Coleman
- 21-35 passing for 259 yards and two TDs...threw his third INT of the season
- Had his third rushing TD of the season
- Now has 3,471 passing yards in his career...moves past John Green for No. 8 on the Mocs' all-time list. 

Junior LB Ryan Consiglio
- Posted 12 tackles...five unassisted...team-high and tied for game-high
- Led the team in tackles in three of the last four games
- Leads the team with 10.7 tackles per game
- Recovered a fumble...second of the year

Junior DL Chris Donald
- Recorded a sack...now has 4.5 on the year...leads the team
- Forced a fumble...his second of the year

Senior FB Courtland Ellzey
- First career catch...4 yards

Senior TE Garrett Hughes
- Three catches for 31 yards and 2 TDs
- 2nd and 3rd TD receptions of the season

Freshman LB Gunner Miller
- First career start...in place of junior J.D. Dothard who was out with a broken toe
- Career-high nine tackles, including 4.0 TFLs
- Had 4.0 TFLs at halftime...more than any other Moc in a full game this season...finished with four

Sophomore WR Brian Sutherland
- Two catches for 69 yards
- 46-yard reception in the second quarter took the Mocs down to WCU's one-yard line, setting up Coleman's one-yard QB keeper and a 14-7 lead...it tied for Sutherland's longest reception of the season (ASU)

Sophomore Jeff Veres
- Made his first 11 PATs of his career before missing one in the 4th quarter tonight...is a receiver who has been pressed into kicking duties due to the injury to Nick Pollard 

Freshman DB Kadeem Wise
- Picked off his third and fourth passes of the season...tied the school record for INTs by a freshmen set by head coach Russ Huesman in 1978
- First Mocs with multiple interceptions in a game since Buster Skrine had two against Western Kentucky on Nov. 3, 2007
