Second Round

  • Chattanooga played with Georgia State and Wofford for all 36 holes in a shotgun start...beat the Panthers by 11 and the Terriers by 19.
  • UTC's 287 (-1) in round two was the 4th par or better round of the year...it ties for the second-best round this season with the first two round of the Carpet Capital Collegiate (Sept. 9-10).
  • Front Nine (Counters by Round): -2 (+3/-5/-)...Stephan Jaeger, Steven Fox and Liam Johnston each played the front side at -2 through two rounds.
  • Back Nine: +4 (E/+4/-)...Jaeger was -2 on the back side for the day.
  • Jaeger posted his 54th and 55th career par or better rounds and is No. 2 all-time at UTC nine behind former teammate Jonathan Hodge (2006-09) with 64...21st round in the 60s which in No.3 behind Derek Rende (2007-10) with 23 and Hodge with 22...now has nine par or better cards this fall in 14 rounds with five in the 60s...-4 on the par 5s today makes him -30 for the season...now has 50 birdies this season...48th consecutive counting round dating back to opening round of 2010 SoCon Championship...now -12 for the year.
  • Fox put together back-to-back sub-par rounds in a tourney this season with twin 71s...now has three straight including his three-under par 69 to end the Brickyard...now has five par or better cards this year, 28 in his career.
  • Eagles (Counters by Rounds): 2 (0/2/-). Fox 1 (0/1/-), Johnston 1 (0/1/-).
  • Birdies (Counters by Rounds): 24 (12/12/-). Jaeger 7 (3/4/-), Johnston 6 (4/2/-), Weilguni 6 (2/4/-), Fox 5 (3/2/-), Bunn 3 (2/1/-). Individuals: Robb 4 (2/2/-), Ratliff 3 (2/1/-).
