November 13, 2011 - at Indiana - Assembly Hall
TEAM
- Chattanooga opens the season with a 78-53 loss at Indiana in Assembly Hall...IU moves to 2-0 on the year.
- UTC is now 0-2 all-time in its series with the Hoosiers...both games were played in Bloomington with IU overcoming a 50-46 halftime deficit to top Chattanooga 99-79 on Nov. 12, 2007.
- The Mocs are 2-17 since the move to Division I in 1977-78.
- Head Coach John Shulman is 121-107 in his eighth season at Chattanooga...he is 0-4 against Big Ten competition, 0-2 against the Hoosiers.
- Mocs made seven of first 15 shots (46.2%) in first 9 minutes, 10 of 48 (20.8%) the rest of the way...conversely, IU was 6 for its first 16 (37.5%), 19 of 34 (55.9%) to close the game.
- UTC out-rebounded the Hoosiers 45-36...the Mocs are 92-46 under Shulman when out-boarding an opponent.
- Indiana held a 31-16 advantage in free throw attempts making 21 to 11 for the Mocs.
- IU led UTC 30-9 on points off turnovers and 24-12 on points in paint.

Senior Omar Wattad
- 24 points on 7-14 FG, 5-10 3pt and 5-5 FT...8th career 20-point game.
- 14th career game hitting 4 or more threes.
- 22nd career double-digit scoring game.
Junior Drazen Zlovaric
- Opened career with double-figure rebounding game grabbing 10...also had 7 points.
- First collegiate game action in over a year after sitting out 2010-11 season after transferring from Georgia.
Senior Keegan Bell
- Had 7 assists tonight...38th time he's had 5+ assists in a game.
