- Chattanooga falls 84-76 at Georgia Southern...UTC is now 2-5 overall, 0-1 in the Southern Conference North Division...The Eagles are 2-4, 1-0 in the SoCon South.

- 45th meeting with GSU with the Mocs holding a 31-14 advantage.

- Head Coach John Shulman is 123-111 in his 8th season at Chattanooga...he is 7-5 against the Eagles, 2-3 in Statesboro.

- Plenty of Chattanooga-Georgia Southern ties tonight...GSU Head Coach Charlton Young was associate head coach on John Shulman's staff during the 2004-05 SoCon Championship season...freshman forward Lance Stokes' dad Fred is a football alum playing for the Eagles before a stellar NFL career including a Super Bowl championship with the 1991 Washington Redskins.

- The Mocs allowed Georgia Southern 19 second chance points on the night off 13 offensive rebounds...GSU won the battle of the boards 35-30...UTC is 1-4 when out-rebounded.

- Eagles shot 51.7 percent from the field which is the best by an opponent this season topping Indiana's 50 percent (25-50)...UTC shot a season-best 50 percent (29-58) including a 18 of 29 performance in the second half (62.1%).

- GSU's 84 points is a season high for a Mocs opponent topping Indiana's 78.

Senior Omar Wattad
- 11 points and five rebounds...shot 4-13 FG and 3-9 3pt.
- 5th double digit scoring night of season, 26th career.

Junior Drazen Zlovaric
- 11 points and one rebound...5-9 FG, 1-2 FT.
- 4th double digit scoring night in his first season with the Mocs.
