TEAM
- Chattanooga lost 87-62 at No. 3 Kentucky...UTC is now 3-8, the Wildcats are 9-1.
- 8th meeting between the two teams...the Mocs are 0-8 against UK, 0-6 in Lexington.
- Head Coach John Shulman is 124-114 in his 8th season at Chattanooga...now 0-2 against the Wildcats.
- The 23,211 to see the Mocs play tonight is the 2nd most in school history...No. 1 was on Dec. 15, 1990 when 23,960, an 86-70 Wildcats win.
- Kentucky opened the game with a 13-0 burst...score the rest of the way favored the Wildcats 74-62.
- Despite an overwhelming height advantage, UK only led UTC by 30-24 on points in the paint...the Mocs defensive effort forced the Wildcats to hoist 33 three-pointers in their 68 field goal attempts...Kentucky made 12 of 33 3pt attempts (36.4%) for the game, eight of 17 (47.1%) in the second half.
- Chattanooga was thwarted by a cold opening half from the field shooting just 25 percent (8-32) from the floor including two for 11 (18.2%) from beyond the arc...shot 33.3 percent for the game (21-63), 29.6 percent (8-27) from 3pt range.

Senior Keegan Bell
- Set the Chattanooga all-time assist record tonight...his four gives him 416 which passes 414 by Tim Brooks (1992-93) and Wes Moore (1996-99) with 414.
- No. 415 came on a 3pt in corner by Ronrico White with 8:12 to go.
Junior Drazen Zlovaric
- Narrowly missed a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds.
- Shot 7-13 from the floor and 1-1 FT.
- 1st time leading the Mocs in scoring...6th double digit scoring night of season,
Sophomore Z. Mason
- Season-high eight points coming off the bench shooting 3-7 FG, 2-3 FT.
- 8 rebounds is a season-high vs. a DI opponent...grabbed 12 in win over Warren Wilson.
Senior Ricky Taylor
- 11 points on 3-8 FG, 2-3 3pt and 3-4 FT.
- Joined the team this afternoon in Lexington after participating in graduation accepting his diploma this morning in Chattanooga (Accounting major).
- Now has 969 career points...one behind Brooks who 19th in scoring (DI era) at UTC with 970.
- Also had a career-high five assists.
- 9th double digit scoring game of season, 54th career.
- 8th all-time in 3pt FGM with 131...Isaac Conner (1996-99) is 7th with 149.
- Has made 25 of last 27 FT attempts.
