TEAM
- The Mocs dropped a 62-53 non-conference game at Georgia Tech tonight...Chattanooga is 14-14 overall, 4-8 in non-conference action in 2010-11, 2-4 on the road.
- The Mocs are 5-10 on the road overall this season, 3-5 in the league and 2-4 out of conference.
- This is the 16th meeting between the two schools with Georgia Tech leading 14-2. This is the sixth time the duo has squared off since Chattanooga's move to DI in 1977-78 with the Yellow Jackets capturing all six meetings over that span.
- Chattanooga is 639-389 (.622) since moving to Division I (1977-78), 168-233 (.420) on the road.
- This is just the second time UTC has lost a game when holding its opponent to less than 70 points...11-2 overall.
- The Mocs went seven minutes without a point midway through the first half...the score was 12-8 Georgia Tech after a DeAntre Jefferson score at 13:12...the Mocs then went 0-8 with four turnovers until another Jefferson score at the 6:05 mark made the score 19-10.
- UTC started the game 0-11 from 3-pt. range before making three in a row to close the first half...The Mocs started the second half 0-6 from three before finishing 5-27 (18.5%).

- Made his first seven shots from the field.
- Third straight game in double-figures...14th this season.
Junior Ricky Taylor
- 13 points on 5-16 shooting, 1-8 from 3-pt. range and 2-2 from the FT line.
- Added four boards.
Junior Omar Wattad
- 18 points on 7-17 shooting, 2-10 from 3-pt. range and 2-2 from the FT line.
- Added six boards.
- Tied a career-high with three steals.
