Chattanooga (14-14, 10-5 SoCon) at Georgia Tech (11-14, 3-8 ACC)
Alexander Memorial Coliseum - Atlanta, Ga.
Wednesday - February 16, 2011

Head Coach John Shulman
Thoughts on the game:
"We just got off to a funky start.  To tell you the truth it may boil down to this.  We didn't make the open looks.  I am trying to find this and that, but we had great looks at the basket.  Ricky Taylor had great looks at the basket.  Probably better looks than he has had in three weeks.  Omar Wattad had great looks, better looks than he has had in a month.  Ball didn't go in the basket.  It was one of those type nights."

On the play of Georgia Tech:
"Shumpert is very difficult to guard and he makes them go.  If you don't build a wall on him, he is going to get to the basket.  He makes them go."

"One team made a couple of buckets and the other one didn't.  They made shots and tonight we didn't make the ones we normally make."

Senior DeAntre Jefferson
Thoughts on the game:
"They got out and ran.  They run a four-guard set with one big and that is what they do.  They got up and down on us and created a lot of fast-break points in the second half that we were able to control in the first.  They hit the glass a little harder and when you do those things, it is a recipe to win."

On outrebounding Ga. Tech:
"Everybody on their team crashes the glass.  There were a lot of balls that went out of bounds and loose balls we didn't get."

On never getting over the hump and taking a lead:
"I think that has been our problem in a lot of games we have lost this year.  We get really close and bring ourselves back...make a few mistakes...we have to come back on the defensive end and get stops.  We don't get stops and it is hard to get over the hump."

Junior Omar Wattad
Thoughts on the game:
"We had a chance at the end to cut it close.  We knew we could play with a team like this.  At the same, time, we fell a little bit short."

On cutting the lead to two, but not getting over the hump:
"It changed a little bit right there.  A quick three and then another bucket.  It happens.  That is why it is a game of runs.  We fought and just came up short.  It is disappointing.  We just have to get our minds right and get us ready for these next three really big games.  We have to win them.  We have to win the north."

"We fought and I feel like we took a step forward, but it is about these next days in practice, getting our mind right and getting ready to play Furman on Monday."
