TEAM
- The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's basketball team posted 75-59 win over Furman tonight...UTC improves to 14-13 overall...Chattanooga is 11-5 in league play, 8-0 at home and 3-5 on the road. Chattanooga is 7-2 against North Division opponents, 4-3 vs. the South.

- UTC remains in a tie for first place in the SoCon North Division with Western Carolina...the Catamounts defeated UNC Greensboro70-66 on the road to improve to 11-5 in the league and 16-13 overall. 

- Tonight's game is a 42-point turnaround from the 86-59 thumping Furman gave the Mocs in Greenville, S.C. on Jan. 22.

- Chattanooga never trailed in a game that was only tied four times. 

- This is the 72nd meeting between the two schools with Chattanooga leading 47-25...the Mocs snap a three-game losing streak to Furman...UTC is 25-6 at home vs. the Paladins.

- Tonight's attendance of 5,107 is the largest crowd of the season.  It is the largest crowd at McKenzie Arena since 5,497 saw the Mocs defeat Samford 81-70 in the semifinals of the Southern Conference Tournament on March 8, 2009.  It is the largest regular season crowd for a Mocs home game since 9,234 saw Chattanooga lose 92-70 to Davidson on Jan. 28, 2009.  UTC used a BLACKOUT promotion that included free concessions and free T-Shirts to draw the big crowd. 

-Chattanooga came into the game leading the league in rebounding with 39.0 per game...The Mocs won the battle on the boards 39-26 tonight...Chattanooga outrebounded Furman 18-2 in the last 12 minutes of the first half.  The Mocs have won the battle of the boards in 18 of the last 23 games. That's after starting the season turning the trick just once in the first six.

- Leading 49-38 with 13 minutes left in the game, the Mocs used three straight 3-pointers (Cage, Bell & Bell) over the next 66 seconds to take control of the game...add in a pair of FTs by Chris Early at the 11:05 mark and UTC's 11-0 run put them up 60-38. 

- Chattanooga is 12-2 when holding opponents under 70 points...the 59 points are the fewest the Mocs have allowed to a Division I opponent this season.   

- UTC is 12-1 when leading at the half...the Mocs lead 38-26 at the break tonight.   

- The Mocs are 11-2 when scoring 70+ points.

- The Mocs shot 52.6% (10-19) from 3-pt. range tonight...the second best showing of the year...12 game with 10+ threes...first time in last four games with 10+ threes...the 10 three-pointers tie for the most Furman has allowed this season...UTC is 7-0 when shooting 40% or better from 3-pt. range. 

INDIVIDUAL
Junior Keegan Bell
- 14 points on 5-7 shooting, 4-5 from 3-pt. range.
- Team-high and tied for game-high with four assists. 
- Season-high five turnovers. 
- Just 1-18 from 3-pt. in the previous four games.
- Has 13 turnovers in the last three games.
- First time in double figures in four games...11th overall this season. 

Junior Chris Early
- Career-high and game-high 23 points.
- Shot 7-10 from the field and 9-11 from the FT line.
- Tied a career high for FGs and FTs made. 
- Game-high eight rebounds.
- 14th double-figure scoring game. 

Head Coach John Shulman
- 120th win at UTC - 120-104 (.536) - 7th year.
- 65th SoCon regular season win at UTC - 65-58 (.528) - 7th year.

Junior Ricky Taylor
- 11 points on 3-9 shooting, 3-5 from 3-pt. range and 2-4 from the FT line. 
- Added four rebounds. 
- Fourth straight game in double-figures. 

Junior Omar Wattad
- 14 points on 3-9 shooting, 2-5 from 3-pt. range and 6-7 from the FT line.
