SCOUTING THE SPARTANS: UNCG split the SoCon season with a 10-10 record. After winning three straight, including a five-point road win at No. 2 Elon, the Spartans fell in their final three games of the year for the No. 6 seed in the Tournament. UNCG is 13-15 overall and 1-0 on neutral ground this year. The Spartans averaged 60.9 ppg this season with a 37.6 field goal percentage. From the 3-point line, UNCG made 29.1 percent of its attempts and was 62.3 percent from the free throw line. On the boards, UNCG hauled in 37.6 rebounds per game with 14.3 on the offensive end. Monique Floyd leads the team in scoring with 13.7 points and 6.0 rebounds per game with Amanda Leigh averaging 11.3. Janae' Stevenson has 7.5 ppg and leads the team with 6.7 rebounds per game. Leigh has a team-best 57 3-pointers and Dayshaun Richbow leads the Spartans with 85 assists and 60 steals. Leigh has 81 dishes and 51 steals.

LADY MOCS vs. SPARTANS: The Lady Mocs and Spartans have met 34 times with UTC holding a 28-6 advantage. UNCG won the first four meetings between the two teams, but Chattanooga has gone 28-2 since. In the Southern Conference Tournament, UTC and UNCG have met six times. The Spartans took the first game, but the Lady Mocs have won each of the last five including an 82-64 win at the Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, N.C., in the quarterfinals last year.
