The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga will host the 2011 First Tennessee Meet the Mocs on Saturday, Aug. 20. Come out to Finley Stadium and enjoy a FREE afternoon that includes an autograph session with selected UTC fall sports and a scrimmage by the Mocs' football team.
Gates open at 12:30 p.m. (E.D.T.) with the football team photo at 12:45 p.m. The autograph session starts at 1:00 p.m. and includes the football, volleyball and soccer teams, as well as the UTC Spirit Group. Bounce houses will also available inside the stadium for all of the kids and the concession stands will be open. The Mocs will also be handing out FREE popsicles to help beat the heat.
Posters and schedule cards for all teams will be available and fans will be able to take pictures and meet their favorite Mocs. The field will be cleared at 2:00 p.m. with the football squad returning for a scrimmage beginning at 2:30 p.m.

Following the First Tennessee Meet the Mocs the UTC Mocs Club Chattanooga Chapter will host its annual Football Kickoff Barbecue for the Mocs, their families, friends and fans starting at 5:00 p.m. We invite you to take advantage of this special opportunity to meet the Football Coaching Staff and eat with the entire football team.
Advance tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children (10 and under). You may order your tickets online at GoMocs.com by clicking here. Deadline for purchase is Wednesday, August 17th and you DO NOT have to be a member of the UTC Mocs Club to attend.
Your tickets will not be mailed, but instead, they will be held for you at the check-in table at the Kickoff Barbecue. Per NCAA rules, all NCAA student-athlete family and friends attending the event must buy a ticket.
This will be a great opportunity to interact with the entire team and coaching staff the weekend before they start their weekly grind of classes, workouts, and practices. By purchasing a ticket to this event, your funds directly help support the betterment of our student-athletes on and off the field.
