TEAM
- Chattanooga is 59-44-1 (.576) all-time in season openers. This is just the 10th time the Mocs have opened the year at an FBS school since the Divisions split in 1977. The last time was at Oklahoma in 2008.
- The following Mocs made their first career starts today, including FB - Taharin Tyson, C - Patrick Sutton, LG – Kevin Revis, LT – Taylor Dodds, TE - Faysal Shafaat, DT – Keyon Reed, DE – Davis Tull.

- UTC allowed Huskers QB Taylor Martinez to log 100 yards rushing () and passing ()…it is the first time since the Mocs have allowed one person 100 yards in both categories in a game since Appalachian State's Armanti Edwards (152 rush, 176 pass) on Nov. 8, 2008.

- Finished with two catches for 17 yards.
