Chattanooga played with Georgia Southern and
Samford today...beat the Eagles by eight and Bulldogs by 19.

5th Southern Conference Championship for the Mocs...also
won in 1987, 2007, 2008 and 2009...19-shot win is most in the event in school
history.

The 19-stroke victory is the most since ETSU topped
College of Charleston in 2001 which was also by 19 at Chattanooga Golf &
Country Club.

Last time a school won the league title and had the
medalist in the same year is 2010 (Furman - Austin Reeves).

Front Nine (Counters by Round): -5 (+5/-3/-7)...Liam
Johnston was -3 on this side for the second straight day...he was -5 for the
tournament.

Back Nine: +2 (+1/+1/E)...Stephan Jaeger was -2 on
the back nine this afternoon...Jaeger was -8 for the tourney.

Jaeger is the first three-time SoCon Golfer of the
Year winner...his win today is his 3rd which ties Jonathan Hodge (2006-09) and
Bryce Ledford (2004-07) for most in school history...his 11-shot win ties the
SoCon record with Brad Faxon (Furman) in 1983.

Jaeger's 69 gives him 65 career par or better
rounds breaking Hodge's career mark of 64...27th round in the 60's, also a school
record...11th round in the 60's this season, 18th par or better card...-15 over his
last 90 holes...15 birdies in the event is his 2nd-most this year behind the
Golfweek Conference Challenge, also a win.

Head Coach Mark Guhne's 4th SoCon Coach of the Year
award...he previously won in 2006, 2007 and 2008.

Chris Robb's 71 is his 7th par or better card of
2011-12, 16th career...his runner-up finish is the eighth in school history at the
conference championship...2nd career top 10 with a win (2010 SpringHill Suites
Collegiate) and a runner-up.

Steven Fox's 70 today moved him into a tied for 4th
at +3...also tied for 4th a year ago...it's Fox's 10th par or better round this
year, 33rd career...3rd top 10 of 2011-12, 8th career.

Johnston's 71 moved him into the top 10 (T10)...1st top
10 in his collegiate career...eagled from the fairway on three (par 5) with a 52
degree wedge...followed that with back-to-back birdies with approach shots
landing within a yard of the hole each time.
