• Chattanooga played with No. 3 UCLA and Colorado State...beat the Bruins by six and Rams by 12...the trio of teams started on No. 1.
• Today's 281 (-7) ties for the best round in the Mocs' regional history...the initial 281 was a three-under par total at the 2008 East Regional (Council Fire G.C.)...it's tied for the third-best this season.
• Front Nine (Counters by Round): E (+4/-4/-)...Steven Fox turned at -5 today...Fox is -4 on this side for the tourney.
• Back Nine: -1 (+2/-3/-)...Stephan Jaeger was -4 on the back nine... -6 for the event on the backside.
• Fox's 64 sets a new course record and collegiate best...eight birdies is a career high...perfect card with 10 pars to go with his eight birds...birdied all four par fives...birdied five of first seven holes including four in a row (4-7)...best Mocs card since former teammate Fredrik Qvicker's 62 (-10) in final round of 2008 Aldila Scenic City Invite...5th round in the 60's in 2011-12, 13th career (2nd in NCAA postseason)...11th par or better round this season, 34th career (3rd in postseason).
• Jaeger's 67 (-5) was a rollercoaster ride...he fired an eagle, eight birdies, five bogeys and just four pars...did not record a par on the back nine but still shot -4 on the side...5th par or better round in NCAA postseason play, 1st in the 60's...20th par or better round this season, 67th in his career...12th round in the 60's in 2011-12, 28th overall...season-high eight birdies...16th round with four or more birdies in 2011-12...top-ranked player at No. 14 in a field that includes No. 17 Corbin Mills (Clemson) and No. 25 Patrick Cantlay (UCLA).
• Fox and Jaeger set a new UTC postseason record with eight birdies.
