ALPHARETTA, Ga. --- The Chattanooga Mocs men's golf team finished 15th at the PING/Golfweek Preview shooting 894. The PING/Golfweek Preview featured a top-flight field at the Capital City Club - Crabapple Course, site of the 2013 NCAA Championship, with 14 of the 15 teams ranked in Golfweek's preseason top 25 (UTC was No. 24).

Steven Fox (Hendersonville, Tenn.) was low in the final round for UTC, while Chris Robb (Aberdeenshire, Scotland) had the Mocs' best overall finish. Fox's even-par 70 today gave him a 218 finish, tying for 39th. Robb ended up tied for 30th two strokes clear of his teammate.

Liam Johnston (Dumfries, Scotland) was next for Chattanooga at 222. Alex Ratliff (Kingsport, Tenn.) and Kory Webb (Knoxville, Tenn.) shot 238 and 244, respectively.

Georgia Tech and Cal were declared co-champions at five-over 845. Each shot four under in their final tally, 276 which was the best team result of the tournament. Texas and opening round leader UNLV tied for third at 853, nine shots off the pace.

San Diego State's Tom Berry was the wire-to-wire winner. His two-over par 72 gave him a 54-hole total of 208, minus two. Good enough for a two-shot win over nine student-athletes tied for second at 210 (E).
