Quotable
"I'm really happy with how this year's schedule turned out. The team's belief built as the season went on last year, and we proved that we are one of the best 30 teams in the country. This group wanted the hardest schedule possible this year to continue to push and challenge themselves, but also to show the country who we are." – Coach Blaine Woodruff

"I tried to have touchpoints in different parts of the country to get acclimated with travel, grasses, weather, seeing different teams, etc., to prepare for postseason. I'm extremely grateful for each of the coaches and institutions that invited our program to these events, and I know our squad is up for the challenge." – Woodruff

Fall Start
It starts out with a short trip to Knoxville for Tennessee's Visit Knoxville Collegiate. That's followed by the Bearcat Invitational in Cincinnati before the Bryan Bros Collegiate at Solina Golf Club, site of the SoCon Championships triumph. The squad tackles the Trinity Forest Invitational before heading back to the Qubein Cup in Greensboro.

Spring Turn
A cross country trek opens the New Year with the Southwestern Invitational near Los Angeles. Two trips to Florida follow heading back to the Gators Invitational and then a visit to Sawgrass for the Hayt. It's back to Texas for the Maridoe Collegiate before returning to Pasatiempo for the Western Intercollegiate on the Golf Channel. The Mocs transition into the postseason heading to Pawley's Plantation to defend the SoCon Championship and eye return opportunity for the NCAA Tournament in May.

The Group
The Mocs return all nine members from the 2026 Southern Conference Championship squad and add two to boot. That includes three All-SoCon performers – seniors Ward Harris and Camden Braidech along with sophomore Evan Rogers, the 2026 league freshman of the year. Sophomore Griffin Law (all-freshman) and junior Ethan Whitaker are back as well. That starting quintet not only captured the league title, but it finished third in the NCAA Bryan Regionals and advanced to the finals at La Costa Resort & Spa.

The 2025-26 Mocs used five different lineups with eight different players making at least one start. Junior Thad Whitfield was alternate during the postseason run and helped lead the squad to a strong top 10 finish at the Western Intercollegiate last April. Senior Aidan Cohl, junior Billy Abdow and sophomore Conner Brummitt return, while freshmen Carter Graham (Brentwood, Tenn.) and Cameron Mukherjee (Scotland) enter the chat.

Notes
  • Three of the courses – Trinity Forest, Qubein & the Hayt – are played on current or former PGA TOUR events, while Maridoe hosted LIV.
  • It's a national schedule covering three time zones.
  • The Mocs own wins at the Bearcat (2023) and the Qubein Cup (2024). Braidech was medalist at the 2024 Qubein Cup.
