CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Continued storms throughout the Chattanooga area have forced the Lady Mocs softball team to cancel Sunday's double header, washing out the entire three-game series against the Samford Bulldogs at Frost Stadium.
Today's Senior Day ceremony, rather than cancel, has been rescheduled for 2 p.m. at the UTC Indoor Hitting Facility. The Lady Mocs will honor seniors Sara Poteat (Thomaston, Ga.), Ninjja Suetsugu (Sao Paulo, Brazil), and Kasey Tydingco (Fairfield, Calif.) at the event. The public and media is invited to join the Lady Mocs for the ceremony.
Chattanooga now looks to Tuesday night as it is the last mid-week game of the season. UTC travels to Birmingham, Ala., to take on the UAB Blazers for a double header.
