It's all in the name
On first reference you may call us the "University of Tennessee at Chattanooga". After that please refer to us at Chattanooga or UTC. DO NOT call us "UT-Chattanooga", "Tennessee-Chattanooga" or any other variation.

We are the MOCS
All of Chattanooga's athletics teams use the nickname "Mocs".

Hogan Named Southern Conference Player of the Week
For her efforts in the Mocs unbeaten weekend, junior Samantha Hogan was named the women's soccer Player of the Week by the Southern Conference for the week Sept. 14-20. She scored the game-tying goal against UAB late in the match and followed it up with an assist on the game winner in the final second of double overtime for the Mocs second win of the year. She then helped the Mocs to a draw at Tennessee Tech two days later.

Streak Snapped
Chattanooga snapped a 21-game Southern Conference losing streak with a 2-2 tie against Wofford on September 25 at home. UTC's last SoCon win was a 3-2 win over The Citadel on October 14 on the road.

First SoCon Win
Chattanooga's SoCon win streak was interrupted with a 2-2 tie with Wofford at home on Sept. 25 and completely broken with a 2-1 win over The Citadel on Oct. 6 in Greenville, S.C.

On to Overtime
The Mocs have taken five games to overtime this season with a record of 1-2-2. That marks just the fourth time in the team's 20-year history that the Mocs have gone to overtime at least four times. In 2011, UTC went to OT six times with a record of 1-3-2.

Mocs Nab Thrilling Double-Overtime Victory
Samantha Hogan scored the game-tying goal in the 83rd minute against UAB and then assisted on the game winner in the final second of double overtime for its second win of the year.
